An Assistant Manager opportunity has become available for a keen and enthusiastic individual looking to join one of the UK’s fastest growing and most exciting retailers.

The suitable candidate will be confident and reliable with a hands on approach to work and will enjoy the fast pace of store management operations.

As well as possessing excellent operational skills you will have a proven track record of driving measurable performance improvements using practical techniques.

We look for a good attitude and enthusiasm and in return we will provide you with the skills needed for retail management.

The successful candidate will attend one of our excellent training facilities in Liverpool or Wiltshire for a 3 week management training programme.

Role Responsibility

  • Be an ambassador for your store, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Lead by example
  • Achievement of KPIs such as sales, salaries and stock loss targets
  • Take ownership for recruiting, training and managing a team of up to 60 staff
  • Responsible for performance and absence management
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety and security

  • Ability to lead, manage and develop others
  • Experience of managing a team of more than 10
  • Deal effectively with customer and staff issues
  • Able to demonstrate good commercial awareness
  • Possess a creative approach to merchandising

  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills and a real 'can do' attitude
  • Experience of working in a retail environment is essential, preferably within a high volume, fast paced business
