Stock Controller

Job Introduction

To support the site we require an experienced Stock Controller to join the team and play a critical role in ensuring all stock within the warehouse is organised and logged correctly, as well as leading and supporting a small team of fellow stock controllers. The successful candidate will ensure all stock records are accurate, locations are utilized to maximum efficiency, as well as stock losses and errors are to a minimum, highlighting and investigating stock discrepancies. This role will involve regular manual handling activities, and some assistance in internal projects working closely with the Stock Control Manager.

This is a full time position working night shifts 10pm - 6am, covering any 5 from 7 days which will include weekends.

  • Identify, coordinate and drive improvements in stock losses and errors
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Operations Management team
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

  • Ideally from a similar environment
  • Understand the process and procedures involved in a fast moving, time critical operation
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good leadership skills
  • A proactive and independent attitude
  • Flexible and able to work closely within the team
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
