Job Introduction

A Trainee Manager opportunity has become available for a keen and enthusiastic individual to join one of the UK’s fastest growing and most exciting retailers in a store management position.

The suitable candidate will be confident and reliable with a hands on approach to work and will enjoy the fast pace of store operations and people management.

As well as possessing excellent operational skills you will have a proven track record of driving measurable performance improvements using practical techniques.

We look for a good attitude and enthusiasm and in return we will provide you with the skills needed for retail management.

The successful candidate will attend our excellent training facilities in Liverpool as part of our 3 week store management training course. Our comprehensive programme, which includes procedural as well as practical and functional training will help you gain the experience, knowledge and skills you will need to work towards a store management position; Store Supervisor, Store Assistant Manager, Store Manager.

Role Responsibility

  • Be a Company ambassador, creating a welcoming atmosphere for staff and customers
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Lead by example
  • Achieve KPIs such as sales, productivity and stock loss targets
  • Take ownership for recruiting and training teams of between 40 and 80 staff, depending on store size
  • Take responsibility for performance and absence management
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures

  • Recognise and appreciate the importance of maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers
  • Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced business is advantageous although not essential
