Job Introduction

A Trainee Manager opportunity has become available for a keen and enthusiastic individual to join one of the UK’s fastest growing and most exciting retailers in a store management position.

The suitable candidate will be confident and reliable with a hands on approach to work and will enjoy the fast pace of store operations and people management.

As well as possessing excellent operational skills you will have a proven track record of driving measurable performance improvements using practical techniques.

We look for a good attitude and enthusiasm and in return we will provide you with the skills needed for retail management.

The successful candidate will attend one of our excellent training facilities in Liverpool or Wiltshire on the management programme for up to 3 weeks before completing a bespoke regionally based training programme working in store to gain experience, knowledge and skills to work towards a store management position; Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Store Manager.

Role Responsibility

  • Be a Company ambassador, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Lead by example
  • Achievement of KPIs such as sales, salaries and stock loss targets
  • Take ownership for recruiting, training and managing a team of up to 60 staff
  • Responsible for performance and absence management
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety and security

  • Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced business is advantageous although not essential
